It's that time .... almost. 68 students, young adults and adults working as 8 - work crews, 1 - day camp crew and 3 dedicated cooks heading down to Sumter County, Livingston, AL. Our host agency this year is Alabama Rural Ministry (http://www.arm-al.org/)
A few fundraisers! (Yeah for the Big Event!) A few 15-passenger vans, cargo vans, mini-vans, pickup truck & trailer. A few broken feet & hip replacements & wedding plans (OK - you get a free pass for this year). A few technical issues (say a prayer for my infected pc).
We'll be heading out from Mentor Friday June 25th, stopping in Nashville, Tn and arriving in Livingston, AL on Sunday June 27th to start this year's service mission.
Say a prayer for us (we could use a few cool days - forecast is mid-90's every day).
Follow the crew's exploits - we'll try to post our progress each day (is the techno-geeks do their thing).
Just For Today - Life is to short not to do something that matters, thank you Lord.
