Lord Loving' Jesus Kangaroos

Thw Kangaroos headed north to the farthest job site into rural Alabama. We arrived at the house of Hazel, to tear down old shaky stairs at the back door of the trailer, and rebuilt beautiful new & strudy stairs. We also added a rail stiffener to a handicapped ramp for her wheelchair bound brother. She was very happy and couldn't believe that people would come this far to help her! She was very very thankful and shared with the team that her church was having a week lomg revival this week! We prayed over her new sairs and headed to Glynda's next. Glynda and her elderly mother were waiting on the porch for us in the 90-degree heat eating popcorn. The home has a leak within the shower walls that was damaging the adjacent walls. We tore out the deck on the back of the house as well. We'll be continuing in the morning. Great Kangaroos who worked in the heat and humidity witout anything but smiles on their faces & very warm hearts. - Dan Gallagher, Sean O'Neill, Shane Kallay, Madi Young, Grace Sheppard, Ted Babcock, Erin Walsh !

  1. Hi Grace, and the rest of the Kangaroos. We have been thinking about you. Can't wait to hear all the stories and see more pictures when you return. Try to stay cool in the heat. It's only in the low 70s today, so we'll wish some of the cool breezes your way! Take care, Dan, Karen, Jordan & Daniel Martin

  2. Imagine constantly having to work in that heat. Alabamans must have strong, yet cool hearts. We can see the smiles in the faces of all you help. How wonderful.
